Description
A beloved trailing succulent of remarkable form, native to the rocky slopes of Mexico and Honduras. Dense, rope-like vines are packed tightly with plump, teardrop-shaped leaves — blue-green in colour, dusted with a fine, silvery bloom — that overlap like scales. Individual leaves reach approximately 3/4" in length while vines may extend 2–3' under ideal indoor growing conditions. A fast grower when well-sited. Handle with care; leaves detach easily, though each fallen leaf is capable of producing a new plant. Position on an elevated shelf, mantle or in a hanging planter so that vines trail freely. Occasionally produces small, rose-coloured flowers at the tips of mature vines. Tolerates some neglect. Prefers bright, indirect to direct light, low humidity and a well-draining, gritty substrate allowed to dry fully between waterings. Best suited to any of our medium tabletop planter from Bergs Potter.
