An upright, rosette-form plant with striking leaves and thick surface roots. New growth emerges very slowly — bronze and delicate, and matures into large, leathery, green spears with maroon undersides. Leaves have an unusual, quilted appearance. Grows optimally in conditions of higher humidity. Best suited to any of our small tabletop planters by Bergs Potter. Prefers bright indirect to filtered sunlight. Avoid exposure to direct sun, as this may scorch or permanently damage leaves.
9-11" Ø and 14-16" h
Arrives well-watered in a nursery grow pot.
Small leaf tears or marks may be present as removal of slow-growing leaves would disfigure the plant. Plants shown reflect a scale, habit and price point only. Plants are shaped by their environment. Some variation is to be expected.
