Description
Japanese Anemone (Anemone hupehensis), a late-season bloomer, perpetual dancer and one of our favourites. Native to central China, long naturalized in Japan. Cup-shaped flowers open flat around a crown of golden stamens. Stems are tall, wiry, branching. Several buds per stem, opening in succession. Single silvery pink or pure white petals, depending on the variety. Available as a 5-stem bunch. Suited to a taller vessel that enables stems to move freely — the Strøm Vase Large by Raawii or Miyabi Vase for Blomus. Both sold separately. Gift-wrapped with hydration.
