Description
A wacky and wonderful species of banksia know as "The Old Man" or "Showy Banksia". Large, woody cones (axis) on thick, angled, sometimes-fuzzy stems. Each cone features tousled, hair-like filaments (perianths and styles) and broad, embedded, velveteen follicles that resemble clams, which house seeds. Often framed by an impressive draping collar of long, serrated yellow leaves. Sold individually. One or two look stellar in any of our vases by Alissa Coe Studio or Clam Lab.

Flower Care
Remove all delivery packaging upon receipt. Display dried materials in a cool spot beyond direct sunlight, heat sources and drafts. Avoid placement in rooms with higher humidity. Do not add water.
