Description
Fierce and otherworldly Datura Metel branches with seed pods only. Features a network of angular stems punctuated by spiky, lantern-link oval seed pods. Slender purple-green stems fork into irregular, expressive lines. Tawny green pods are produced by earlier, impressively-large trumpet-shaped flowers responsible for the plant's common name: Devil's Trumpet. During the drying process, pods split open into four lip-like segments. Their interiors reveal four distinct chambers which may contain tiny, inky-black seeds. Spiky pods cast interesting shadows and beg inspection. Mouthy, wild and sculptural! Available branches are shorter in length than those pictured. Anchor stems with a flower frog or ample decor sand to animate any vase with a broad opening. Available in bunches of five (5) stems. *NOT SUITABLE for any household/workplace with pets or small children, as seeds are toxic if ingested.*
