Description
Spiralling dried inflorescence of Buriti Palm (Mauritia flexuosa), also known as the "tree of life". Tassel-like flowers are long, winding, pointed and heavily ridged — as they once bore many fruit widely used in the culinary and oil industries. Rich, chocolate colouring. Provided as a loose bunch of five (5) filaments, each measuring up to 4'. Originally harvested from thick, curling stems of towering palm specimens in South America (Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, for example). Add to a tall vase filled with decor sand or (coated) chicken wire for a striking, helix-inspired display. display. Handle with care.
