DESCRIPTION
Part of a new body of work produced in collaboration with Flùr, featuring regionally-specific materials and four quintessential forms: the pedestal, boule, high-boule and dome.
A substantial vase consisting of a domed body with flat-bottomed base and a columnar neck. Made from red-coloured stoneware from Italy. Intentionally textured surface has been dipped in a jade glaze to achieve speckled, rustic and always luminous results. Soft drips and subtle striations apparent on the mouth, joints and curvatures. Satin finish throughout. One of a kind and handmade by Alissa Coe. Wheel-thrown. Watertight.
