Description
A variety of hoya coveted for its miniature, mostly-silver leaves. Features tiny, pale green, spade-shaped foliage with silver variegation that ranges from a light splattering to full, iridescent coverage. Growth emerges in a dense carpet-like mat atop soil before producing long trails. Slightly thicker stems than other cultivars. Hoyas — aka "wax plants," thanks to their thick, waxy leaves — are among our favourite indoor houseplants. The species is relatively drought-tolerant, endures for years and often in the same pot, grows to epic proportions, propagates easily from cuttings, and produces recurring clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers in ideal growing conditions. Best suited to any small tabletop planter Bergs Potter. Prefers bright indirect to filtered sunlight. Avoid exposure to direct afternoon sun, as this may scorch and permanently damage leaves. Sensitive to overwatering.
