Description
A statement flower with a complex form, neon and graded colouring, impressive size and long vase-life. Chrysanthemum 'Balthazar' features a dramatic burst of petals concealing a small, button-like centre. Petals are long, fine, tubular and slightly twisted; they shift in tone from deep garnet or burgundy (base) to neon green (middle) to rose (at their tips). Their form is spidery — akin to fireworks. As flowers mature, petals extend outward and downward, adding fullness and creating a round, almost spherical shape. Large heads (2-5" in Ø) on tall, sturdy stems. Available as a five-stem bunch. Arrange en masse or mix with other chrysanthemums or textural materials for a quirky yet elegant display.
