Description
Bold and impressive dried Cardoon flowers (Cynara cardunculus), available in three (3) stem bunches. An edible Mediterranean thistle and close relative of the artichoke. Part botanical, part sculpture. Flower heads are composed of many layered, spiky bracts that radiate outwards in a starburst formation. Muted purple, central brush-like tufts are present on most flower heads — once a vivid purple. Bracts are tinged aubergine from their tips. Substantial, branching, defoliated stems create clean lines that frame these dramatic flower heads. Display in a weighted vase of suitable proportions as a commanding statement piece. Or, pair with other materials requiring height, a formal punch and a bit of the wild.

Flower Care
Remove all delivery packaging upon receipt. Display dried materials in a cool spot beyond direct sunlight, heat sources and drafts. Avoid placement in rooms with higher humidity. Do not add water.
