Description
A cactus with personality. Its native form (Cereus repandus) originates from South America (Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela). The montrose mutation produces unique, knobby and twisting stems rather than traditional columnar growths. "Rojo' spines glow firy red on green stems under bright light. Mature specimens measure 1-2' wide and 2-4'. The plant is slow-growing, long-lived and low-maintenance. Over time, produces large, fragrant, funnel-shaped night-blooming flowers, under ideal conditions; however, this rarely occurs indoors. Thrives in bright indirect light with several hours of direct sun. Potted in a rose Julie Planter 14 cm / 5"by Bergs Potter.
