Potting and Repotting

Special Points/Common Problems:

    • Brown or dried tips, soft or wrinkled leaves and an exaggerated concave plant shape often suggest underwatering.
    • A brown, black or mushy base, or, leaf drop often suggest rot from overwatering.
    • Once in their lifetime, plants may flower and then, eventually fade. Flowers last for days or even months, and while flowering, plants produce offshoots or pups. Separate pups once they reach ½ of the size of their parent.
