Description
A delightful pink-flowering bulbous plant commonly grown indoors and believed to bestow luck. Coveted for its green clover-like leaves with burgundy centres and wiry red stems. Interestingly, the plant keeps time — spreading its leaves open in daylight and closing them tight at night. (This is a phenomenon called nyctinasty.) Suitable for and best appreciated up close on a desk, coffee table or kitchen island with bright indirect to filtered sunlight. In adverse conditions/ seasonally, the plant may go dormant and is best encouraged above ground with additional light and water as well as light fertilization.
