A singular low vase with a short columnar base and broad conical mouth. Suitable for fresh flower ikebana displays. Accommodates our Kenzan (Flower Frog) / 2.75". Spectacular titanium crystal glaze crawls and covers much of the surface and interior, with traces of mint on the rim and foot, and a partially exposed interior base. Significant sparkle to matte surface throughout. Wheel-thrown stoneware. Watertight.One of a kind and handmade by Clam Lab.

Clam Lab is the ceramics practice of artist Clair Catillaz, based in Catskill, New York, USA. Catillaz creates vessels of other-worldly beauty on the wheel and using traditional hand-building techniques. Her pieces are often fired multiple times in the kiln, which accounts for their remarkable, nuanced glazing. Her work expertly balances form and function.
